Adopt An Animal

A wonderful, wild gift for all ages and occasions!

Adopting a zoo animal will help provide food, shelter and care for your animal for one year.

Any individual, organization, business, club, classroom or youth group can become an adoptive parent. We have new adoption levels and special naming opportunities available.

The animals that are adopted from the Adopt-An-Animal program remain at Mill Mountain Zoo in the care of trained animal staff, no ownership rights are conferred.

The Zoo retains the right to remove an animal from public exhibit for any reason. If your sponsored animal leaves the Zoo, your gift will help another animal. Animals may have more than one zoo parent.
