Campers get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a zookeeper, including cleaning, feeding, medicating, and enrichment activities. Explore animal behavior, identify birds, test water quality, and gain hands-on zookeeper experience!

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a zookeeper? Join us forJunior Zookeeper Camp at Mill Mountain Zoo and get a hands-on experience caring for our amazing animals!

Campers will:
Learn to identify birds and observe animal behaviors
Prepare diets and create enrichment for our residents
Help with safe exhibit care and maintenance
Conduct water quality tests and other zookeeper activities
Plus, enjoy a full tour of the zoo, themed STEM lessons, crafts, and games!

Full Day Cost: $250 members | $275 non-members
