Led by our experienced educators, this guided hike will take you through Mill Mountain’s trails as we search for native bird species, listen for their calls, and observe their behaviors in the wild. Along the way, we’ll discuss their incredible adaptations, from soaring wings to specialized beaks, and the important roles they play in the ecosystem. After our hike, we’ll return to the zoo to meet some of our avian ambassadors up close and learn more about their unique characteristics and conservation stories!
