Mill Mountain Zoo Invites Community to Enjoy Summer Evenings at Brew at the Zoo on July 10

 

Roanoke, Virginia– Mill Mountain Zoo invites the community to enjoy a summer evening of wildlife, live music, local beverages, and family fun during the second Brew at the Zoo of the season on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

This family-friendly event offers guests the opportunity to experience the Zoo after hours while enjoying local craft beverages, food, live entertainment, and visits with more than 250 incredible animals in a relaxed, scenic setting atop Mill Mountain.

 

This month, guests can look forward to:

♥  Craft beer from Twisted Track Brewpub

♥  Spirits and specialty cocktails from Brady’s Distillery, featuring drinks inspired by some of the Zoo’s most popular animals

♥  Wine available at Bali’s Bistro (via drink ticket)

♥  Live music by Randolph Thomas, sponsored by 3rd Street Coffeehouse (bring your chairs!)

♥  The Zoo Choo operating throughout the evening (weather permitting)

♥  Animal encounters and opportunities to explore the Zoo after regular hours

 

“We’re excited to welcome guests back for another Brew at the Zoo,” said Niki Voudren, Executive Director of Mill Mountain Zoo. “Whether you’re spending the evening with family, meeting friends, or simply looking for a unique way to enjoy a summer night, Brew at the Zoo offers something for everyone while supporting the Zoo’s mission of conservation and education at our historic destination.”

 

Admission to Brew at the Zoo directly supports Mill Mountain Zoo’s nonprofit mission, helping provide exceptional care for more than 250 animals while advancing wildlife conservation and educational programming throughout the Roanoke Valley.

 

To prepare for the evening event, Mill Mountain Zoo will close early to general admission at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, and will reopen at 5:00 p.m. exclusively for Brew at the Zoo guests.

 

Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, but tickets are also available for purchase at the gate. Mill Mountain Zoo members receive discounted admission to Brew at the Zoo.
