Presenting ZooBoo by Mill Mountain Zoo

Roanoke, VA October 21, 2024 – Get ready for Mill Mountain Zoo’s most spook-tacular Halloween event of the year at ZooBoo on October 26, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm.  Sponsored by Valley Star Credit Union, this family-friendly extravaganza promises a day filled with wickedly good fun!

ZooBoo is a day for all our favorite princesses, superheroes, and monsters to experience trick-or-treating, games, and crafts while being entertained by fun pumpkin enrichment for their favorite zoo animals.  Our raccoons, black bear, and Burmese python will take the stage during zookeeper chats about their favorite Halloween tricks and treats.

New this year, is a shuttle from the Elmwood parking lot on Williamson Road up to the Zoo Parking lot.  The shuttle will run every 15 minutes between Elmwood parking lot and the Zoo.   All guests are encouraged to use this free shuttle to prevent overcrowding at the Zoo parking lot.

Pre-sale tickets can be purchased now at $12 for adults; $11 for seniors; and $10 for children 3-12 years old.  When you purchase your tickets in advance, you will have access to an express check-in line.  Tickets on Friday, October 25th and the day of the event will increase to $15 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $13 for children 3-12 years old.  As always, kids 2 and under are free with adult admission.  Mill Mountain Zoo members receive free admission as part of their membership and may use the express check-in line for entry.
