The Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce the opening of our new Raccoon Exhibit. The first of two Raccoons, “Katia” is now on display.

The Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce something entirely new, Acoustic Friday's. Once a month we will be open late until 7:00 pm on a Friday. In addition, we will have live acoustic music from Joy Truskowski from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

The Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of 3 Pallas’ cat kittens. The kittens, two boys and one girl, were born on March 21, 2017 and are now 4 weeks old.

In honor of our 65th anniversary, Mill Mountain Zoo is excited to announce plans for new exhibits focused on animals native to the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Bald eagle, Black bear and Raccoon exhibits.

Visitors to Mill Mountain Zoo over the Memorial Day weekend will be happy to see the beloved Zoo Choo is back on track!
